I have to be in the mood and today, I was. This image has been kicking around for probably close to five years at this point. I'd really like to get it done. I did do a bunch of work on it today and might even get the bits and pieces finished. Maybe. That being said, it's coming along. There's going to be a LOT of color shifting before I decide it's done. But so far, I'm happy with the way it's going.

It looks warmer than before. Is this the longest time you have spent on a drawing? I usually abandon something after a while but might start over again years later when i think i can handle it better.
If anything, it's cooler as I've added a lot more blue elements to it. But I think it makes the warm stuff pop, which is what I wanted. This is easily the longest I've worked on anything. Even the really detailed prints I've done in the past didn't take me this long. All the little details are daunting. But I want it to look cool as it's meant to be a gift.
Its already cool so mission accomplished. You have a steady hand and determination to get this how you want! Bravo!
