Working on some designs for a cubist minotaur painting. Started less abstract and got moreso. I like the bottom one the best of the three. Ink, for now.

I was recently invited to join Kidjutsu, a website for kids' comics. The owner thought Fite! would do well there, and as it was non-exclusive as far as publishing goes, I decided to go along for the ride. One of the things I did was tack on an extra page for the comic as the original ending was a little too ambiguous for kids. That's what this is. Took me less than an hour from pencil to final coloring.

Random stuff. First is Milt, the bondage fairy, accountant 5th class. Second is the Queen. I suppose I could have been more kind but I was looking for something halfway between caricature and cartoon. Both are ink and Illustrator.

A little experiment with Photoshop. I could have got the same effects with Illustrator, but I'm trying to learn PS. I need to alter my style a bit though I still learned a lot from doing this. The cat's name is Tamo, and he was a throw away in Fite. He lasted one page though I did a couple pages of character design. Poor guy.

EDIT: I went back to the file today and painted out the linework, then spent hours doing patch work to finish it off. I think it looks better without the lines, much as I love my brush.
