Next page I'm working on. This is from a photo of an alley in Bratislava. For some reason, I'm really happy with this drawing even though it's so simple and has no central focus.
Oh, sipping champagne and burning money to light my cuban cigars. :"D Never been there. That's the magic of the internet. There's no way I could have done Tamino without Google Image Search. One main point; I never use someone's photograph as direct reference. I use it to get the details of a place then change the perspective at least.
i can see using a classic photo as a direct reference, it can add something to the scene. other than that it is sort of copying someone else's work. I'd love the chance to go a few places and take my own photos of some of these places. Someday... maybe.
