Well, it's more an adaptation and I should have pushed it farther. I always need to push things farther. But here, take a look at some of this stuff. This is kind of what I was aiming at:
I think you succeeded. Those comics always fell into "cheap don't bother" category for me, but looking at that link, I can see how interesting the art was!
Some of it is 'cheap; don't bother.' And some of it was done by animators and is really well done. All of it is great inspiration for my own cartooning. There is SO much to learn. I have to keep pushing myself as I'm too restrained, especially with my boxer.
