First up is a morning warmup I did as I work out an aesthetic for a short comic I'm doing for another anthology. Same crow, different style and story. The other image is, well, me after a little shopping trip today. Yah, so hip I can barely walk. (Totally kidding.)

You never change! Hey.. I went on a shopping trip thursday as well...

BTW: there's a lot of press around lately for self publishing comic book artists here, it seems to be becoming a good way for independents to get out and make some money even. Stores like Drawn and Quarterly seem to be much more open to carrying them now too.

What did you buy? As for D+Q, they were the first publisher I contacted. Canada, I think is a lot more open to experimental and small press stuff in general as is Europe. There are movements here as well. Problem is, I'd have to devote so much time to that, I'd never produce anything. Don't have time for a third job. :(

I had to buy swimming gear... my bathing suits are not made for the hour, hour and a half of laps I do and... are 20 years old. I needed goggles too but the ones I bought leak. Plus Greenpeace saw me in the new suit and tried to roll me into the river, pouring water over me the entire time. Embarassing.

You do have to devote some time to getting the promo stuff and producing the product. If you want help design ing the electronic comic or preparing it for print, i can help you with that. I'm going to help someone produce and ePub book (All text) next week.
