Morning warmup on the right. Comparison drawing of how I drew the character a year ago. A lot of changes (Flick's taller) both in style and conception of what the character is. Things have become less cartoony, a little more serious. What was going to be a quick, goofy little D+D comic has taken on something more. At least I hope it will. This is this year's project. Now to actually get down and DO it.

it's definitely a progression and a change of style. One is not better than the other I'd say but reflects how your ideas about the project have changed. I'm sure we all look forward to you being done before the end of the year.. get to to it!
That's a really keen observation, Vince and I'm going to agree. What was once just going to be a quick, goofy D+D comic has grown into something a lot more detailed. I hope to have the first chapter of about 30 pages done this year.
