I am sure I have o idea what you are talking about. Is't your convention about now? I want to hear all about how it goes!

Well, Vince, the convention was last weekend and the short version is that I got some VERY encouraging responses from Disney if that can be believed. I don't really think anything will come from it, but they're doing portfolio review in January so if they want me, that's when I'll hear from them.

well i don't find it surprising at all. If they don't get back to you, it's more about volume of people they deal with... not your work which is as good as anything they produce or better. You might very well hear from them... but I'd out it out of your mind until you do or it might drive you crazy with stress!

That's pretty much all I can do, Vince! They'll either email or not. I don't expect they will. In the meantime, I have to apply to Pixar, Dreamworks, CN and Nick. Who knows, right? Thanks for the kind words!

well if my animations were bringing in money... you'd be the 1st person I'd hire. you are the perfect person for getting out ideas and bringing life and style to characters of all sorts. Your work does nothing but get better and more interesting over time.

Vince, you are far too kind! Thank you! And look at you excelling at photography, opening your own media business and learning French on top of all of that (never mind moving to Quebec!). And I remember you taking German classes!

well my media business has been going about 20 years but never very well. I have ups and downs and people seem to like my photos but never enough to buy them or publish them. You know how it goes! I like what i come up with and I guess that is what really counts.

We used to speak german at work I remember... mostly to bug other people i think. :) German by the way, does nothing to help you learn french.
