So this happened. The Lautrec thing. As soon as I did that last one, I knew I was going to do this and, once again, second guess myself. Thing is, this didn't really take any longer to do this kind of coloring than it did to render it in Illustrator. It's a very different aesthetic and, like the bunnies before this, I'm muddying things up by experimenting again. But I did it, and here it is.

I like this one less, though it looks no less like real materials than the last one. I might just be too attached to the former style though. I sent 2 days animating a robot cat with his eyes on the end of springs so i might just be really too tired to appreciate it like I should!
I think the colors are too bright in this one; Lautrec rarely used really bright colors and I think the previous one worked better with the background, so your critique is just. Thanks!
