I've been lazy and putting off working on the next pages of the comic. But there are plenty of nights I just want to draw. And so...yet another self portrait sketch. What I will say is that my lines have become more confident over the years, with minimal erasing and 'scaffolding.' At least when it comes to my face. After this, I did work on the comic, suddenly remembering that I had to work on 'tags' for the mice as they're about to commit mischief.

You keep drawing and that is wha counts! I might start a draw soon, I was I sprinted looking at some video footage in a France train station of trains coming into the station.
At this point, of all the processes, drawing feels the most relaxing because it doesn't HAVE to become something else. It CAN but it doesn't have to.
Hopefully I will start my new drawing soon and get me going again. I like doing series because I can explore things in different ways but like you said a drawing can just be it’s own thing
