Some more playing about, both with Marcus and Lucco. The Marcus drawings have no reference, they're just poses I threw together. The Lucco uses a screen grab from a cartoon I don't know with a boxing rabbit and turtle. All of this helps me learn.
These are just warm ups or stuff for fun. There's other Tamino stuff as well, and I'd be really productive if not for my stupid job. Homeless, but productive. :"D
there are advantages to NOT having a job! I wonder if you could sell Tamino or Fite in the itunes stores now.... I know many independent musicians are selling stuff there and with the new book store... who knows?
I'm actually thinking of pitching Tamino to Drawn + Quarterly which is in your town there. Couldn't hurt! As for the iTunes thing, dunno as the comic has been free up to this point and online. Don't know that anyone would pay for Fite at this point..
that's a good way to be seen, I have a friend who they published and had good feedback. You could offer it for free too. There are a lot of tools now that save fro e-pub format so it would be fairly simple to make the file. Indesign does it and so does "pages" (as of yesterday) Apple's word processing program. If you gt in, tell me so i can buy the issue!
