Didn't Anna Gato used to say when a writer was stuck on an anding they would all just dies in a car/boat/train/plane/asteroid accident? Ties up all the lose ends!
I am not sure Anna is the best judge of story writing. She was writing that book of hers for 2030 years thousands of pages and it never got done. It would be funny if she ever finished it and it didn't with an astroid hit or train accident or something .
Well, I'm not taking her advice, more of pointing out a coincidence. Anna might be more like Henry Darger with that novel. Who knows? There's a comic I really like that ends with an asteroid hit. I can see why it might be thought of as a kind of 'cheat,' though if that's where the story should go, that's where it should go.
It's true you never know she might be on the bestseller list someday. It's only a cheat if it's a put in just because you can't think of anything else that might make better sense.

Funny you should say that, Vince...
