didn't they want in in the firs place because if it's non traditional story telling in the first place? Maybe they will pick it up later or try something else. I just lost a big PBS contract (for me) over an email my partner in those projects sent by mistake to the client. bad week for getting new work I guess.
Gah, really Vince? That sucks. Really sorry to hear it. I hope that doesn't sour any possible future contracts with them. As for Fite, I think what happened was I had one fan on the board of this publisher and he couldn't convince the others that Fite wasn't a risk. Which I can understand.
I guess.. you'd think people would realize "safe" is never what gets attention in the end. Especially with comics. Maybe another time or even one of your wither efforts will get done though.. I guess catching someone's attention is never a bad thing. I wrote the client myself and she said they had found someone else but would put me in their file of people to contact. blah blah blah...
