Progress, but not finished. I did one thing that made a huge difference; I took it off the wall and placed it on a table to be able to move it around and get to the edges more easily. I have to fix the mouth as it's too dark and do a second coat of the hair. Otherwise, I think it's coming out pretty well.

Moving along! I am jealous you have such a big space to work in! I think how well you transfer the iPad drawings to these giant real paint projects says alot about how skilled you are with your work.
Really, this room is smaller than the room you have with your computer and stuff in it. My walls are full, so I have to use the mirrored closet doors, the one vertical flat surface I have left to paint on. I dragged my drafting table out of the closet to finish it, but when it's done, both will go right back inside. It's pretty tight here.
I can't complain then! Damn it! I do have room to set ups decent portrait set up so this room s larger than I give it credit for. I am starting to think ways to reduce what I have laying around again. I would like to get some LED portrait lights to replace the tungsten lights I have to take portraits, they are smaller lighter and can change colour, plus they sometime come in their own little case.
They do. There are all sorts of little LED mini spots these days, some coming with diffusion filters, barn doors and everything! And they don't get so hot! I never actually light my subjects; I deal with the shitty lighting that's there. Works out fine when, like this, I'm flattening everything out. :D
I started looking on Amazon and while they are not free, they are not ridiculous in price. OT: the new Mac stuff seems to indicate that as they go to the ne processors you could use procreate on an iMac!
