Got this finished today. There was some last minute messing about with the colors as I tried to relate this page more with the one before it. It's still a bit of a stretch, chromatically but I think it works and that added orange gradient ads a sense of depth, too. Regardless, I can move on and do what I hope is a quicker track.

This fits with the previous pages better but I have to say I liked he cool winter look of the last version!
I think the finished one has more depth but I can see your point. I have to make the pages relate and, because I don't plan things ahead of time, I often have to bend things to get them to fit. Like inserting Zippa in previously finished pages, which I have. :D
Having to go back is part of the game in your comics! It is not all about single images, they all have to work together and that means compromise! I am looking forward to my illustrated short story/ short animation project. I think the animation will really be a stripped down version of the written story so I will get a taste in my writing what i have been doing to other people's writing when I make adaptions.
