Managed to sneak in two color tests on this one. The top one is based on a color palette from a Van Gogh portrait, with some tweaking. The lower one is based on, believe it or not, "Blue Boy," by Gainsborough, again with some tweaking. I prefer the Van Gogh, my partner prefers the Gainsborough. One thing I notice is that the details of her face seem too smooth. Might have to play with those a bit. But I like the portrait so far, especially the elongated composition.

Very strong likeness! When I saw the black and white versions I immediately saw it was Judi Dench. Great pose you decided to use as well.
