Finished this tonight. I adjusted the colors a lot and also had to do a good deal of editing on the face. There were things that were just not right about it. Live and learn. I'm pretty happy with how this came out. She seems joyous. I hope I did her justice. Not that she'll ever know. Emma Dabiri. I should look her up and see what she does. :D

Another done, you have large collection of portraits now! She looks great and it's a shame she might never see it herself.
Thank you. I made a new album in Flickr recently, which was one of hand picked portraits that I thought were my best. I've done close to 100 since the Portrait Book. I really enjoy doing them. And I'm starting to get people who want one. Just friends, which means no money, but still.

100 since the book? That is amazing! I have to say since I decided to work digitally my output has increased and since I go the iPad Pro and Pencil I have really done an order of magnitude more. I went from maybe one or two drawings a year to sometimes 3 or 4 in a month. I think some of my friends are starting to want portraits, but that might be wishful thinking.
