Page 125 done. It only took about 45 minutes to do the finals on this one. It's a bit busy, but it does what it needs to do, fits the theme and you can still read the words. I realized, as I finished this, that there's one more verse to go in this track, three tracks left after that in the act which will bring me to the halfway point. I'm still too slow on this project but that seems like a good indication that I will finish it. At some time. Little steps.

Almost ½ way there! That will be an accomplishment! Drinks for everyone! My friend Ralph was 10 year plus to do his sequel to Gone with the wind, 1500 illustrations,I think.

Yah, it's taking me longer than any other comic I've ever done. Tamino was like 150 pages? And I'm nearly there. It feels like I'm just getting started. And I was messing about with City Silent...at least six years ago. I guess these things take as long as they take.

It has taken me years to get only a little over my obsession with scheduling personal project like a paid job. There are advantages to that, like it gets done in a certain time period but it also causes stress and gets rushed for no good reason. There is a middle ground I am sure but I also think feeling too obligated to get something done has limited my potential at times.

I will always want to go back and edit things, or fix this, or change that. You just have to learn to let go. But I don't know if I could work on a schedule. For me, that would mean I WOULDN'T get things done. Weird how differently people can work!

Scheduling is part of organization for me and keeps me focused. It can get out of hand when it’s not me setting things up and just too much is demanded for a time period… like the magazine work most of the time. Five things being done at the same time with not enough time to do any of them is just chaos. I loved going into my studio and having the day all worked out in advance.
