Well, I managed to get something done today. For whatever reason, I grabbed a still from "Singin' in the Rain," one where an extra pops up and shouts, "Zelda!" in regards to one of the stars at a movie premier. For some reason, I find his goofy face appealing and so am going to do a portrait. It's a step forward and something accomplished. Done all freehand. Pencil, paper, all that. Yay me.

When i opened the page I thought"It's the joker!" I may have been influenced by your series of batman podcasts. Already some nice detail in this one.
The Joker came to mind as well, and because the image is so fleeting and isn't some big named star, I'm betting other people think that as well. I think I want to play with texture with this one, but we'll see. Whenever I plan things in my head, they don't come out that way in the end.
Oh Im not crazy! Well, that might be wrong but not crazy for thinking that anyway. I think it's the teeth that brought me there. I want to try some of the texture brushes in Designer at some point, they look interesting for texture and to add a little extra to a vector drawing.
