Web comic work, illustration work and other stuff I might feel like doing.

Another case of me wanting to draw tonight. Was going to do the whole grid overlay thing but then decides just to do a loose sketch instead. I might develop this, might not. The foot's off, but I like the rest of it fairly well.
The foot might be a little large but you do like distortion! The expression in the face is very intense! The line work looks pretty solid. I imagine work is getting crazy. For you now, take every chance you can to draw!
Work isn't crazy, not for me. Since there's a "recession" on, or so they say, they've actually cut my hours. So far, this has been the calmest holiday season ever for me. There's lots to do, which means I get some of it done. There are two exhibits I want to see locally; one of Van Gogh at the DIA which has some pretty big paintings, like "Starry Night," and "Room at Arles" that I didn't think I'd ever get to see. There's also a traveling exhibit of illustration art in Flint. So I'm going to try and work those in.
That sound like a good holiday season for you... maybe a little less money though Apple doesn't need seem to be in "recession". The States don't seem to be either as I think many people have realized they have been wasting money and are maybe getting smarter about what they are buying. I didn't think Starry Night was going on tour ever... get there and see it! I bought Robin's bday and xmas gift finally. I have been taking him to see a show, usually ballet or classical music as anything physical I buy him never gets touched no matter how much he says he wanted it. The tickets are pricey so it cost 100s of $ for two but it's something he can enjoy and it supports the arts! We are seeing a show called Harmonium" which looks like classical inspired weirdness.
