Did this one as well. It's one of the very few images I've made of my favorite role playing character. It's based on an underwear model because why not though made a little less like him. I rather like it especially as it's not perfect. So far, I'm a minority of one.

It's good to see you having fun drawing. Much as Liked the comics you were working on, they did seem stressful trying to get them out and having to move on the the next panel ... and the next... and the next. It's huge commitment.

Fite and Tamino seemed to mostly come out just fine. Tamino had a hiatus in which I made Harlon but progress was more or less steady. I still think about City Silent. I think it just finally got to me that no one was reading it, partially because the deliver system was working very much against it, partially it was demanding on the reader. I needed some kind of feedback to keep going. If I had, it still would have taken the better part of five years.

My first gothic animation... Music of Eric Zann, was my first "full" animation. Complete septs and characters, an entire city street to explore and took 5 years to make. And no one really cared about me making it. It did get picked up for a couple festivals by surprise when it was done though. Maybe it's a little much to think anyone is going to follow an artists through the entire creation process, they just want to see the result. I wish I had more feedback and art direction on my projects, especially the animations. Robin is zero help, he complained that in the new one the lights were flickering... as you know it takes place in massive catacombs lit by torches! He can't put the pieces together until they are already in place and I don't think that is uncommon. MY most common response to a work in progress is "Why on earth would you spend some much effort on that? " I have been pretty lucky to have you to tell me what you think from time to time. It's really easy to get lost in what you are doing and miss what others see in it and who might point out problems that arise when you know so much about a project you make the mistake that everyone knows as much as you do when they see it. That's my experience anyway.
